One thing for sure, Tom either have a very bad eye sight, OR, he's not observant to his surrounding.
Well, I couldn't blame Tom for being attracted to the painting of lovely flowers.
I mean, it's in his face, it's attractive, it's beautiful.
But however, Tom could have flew around the room a little longer before settling for the painting.
Because of that, he missed the REAL flower, which caused him to not me able to carry out the transferring of pollen.
Which will lead to him not about to carry the pollen to other flower.
Which then again might cause the extinction of that specific flower.
WHICH THEN AGAIN caused him not to be able to make honey.
WHICH THEN AGAIN AGAIN place the bee kingdom in some kind of danger because there's no honey.
Okay, someone will have to correct me up there.
But because of muddle-headed Tom, the consequence is huge and unbearable.
This could be applied to our life.
TADAAA
You see, humans are visual animal, meaning, we are easily attractive to things that perceived beautiful to us.
I don't disagree with that, beautiful thing attracts to me more easily than things that are, if I shall say, normal, or plain.
However, what we often neglect is that the fact that physical attribute are not everything we are looking for.
In Tom's case, a painting of beautiful flower with no real value (to carry out pollination), is a painting that's useless to Tom.
Because Tom could only admire the flower, and that's all he could do.
But instead, the real flower, though took longer time to notice, was what Tom looked for.
Beauty may define one's popularity, but it's the personality that defines yourself.
I'm ending this post with a song which I find very relatable to Tom, it's titled "Fading flower" by Yuna, a Malaysia Indie Singer.
